Relief Chef Required (Galway Area)
The Position Requires The Person:
• To manage the production of all food in a hygienic, cost effective and quality way.
• To deputise for and work with the Deli Manager/Head Chef at the various retail outlets
Responsibilities Include:
• To prepare and produce food to the required standards.
• To manage assigned areas of responsibilities and other task as directed.
• To check the daily work tasks and to achieve a high quality standard.
• To work and prepare food in a high quality, cost effective manner
• To work the daily operations in the kitchen (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as required from the Head Chef, working to prescribed recipes.
Requirements
• Able to work and cook at different retail sites
• Basic HACCP knowledge
• Basic cooking and kitchen equipment skills
• Excellent customer service skills as well as being a team player
